Dipstick replaces filler cap and is to remain in the tube as most conventional dipsticks do.
The dipstick is made to check fluid both cold and hot. As with most vehicles the preferred method is to check fluid level hot.

For 2011-2012 Dodge Challenger – (SXT) 3.5L or 3.6L
For 2006-2012 Dodge Charger – (SE, SXT) 3.5L or 3.6L
For 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum – (SE, SXT) 3.5L or 3.6L
DOES NOT FIT 300C MODELS OR 5.7 — 6.1 ENGINE

Note:
Please use all proper precautions when checking fluid level on a motor vehicle. If you are unaware of all vehicle safety procedures do not try this yourself. Personal Eye and burn protection should always be worn.
Please make sure that vehicle is at operating temperature. And the vehicle turned off. Inset dipstick fully into transmission. Including locking it by turning it clockwise. Turn it counterclockwise remove and check level.
Dipstick can be permanently left in transmission tube!

Fits my 09 chrysler 300 perfectly, it would be nice if there was some instructions but other then that would recommend.

I knew when I opened this package I was doomed. The dipstick was coiled up and the plastic scale/dripstick end was bend from packaging. I went to check the transmission level, at first I couldn’t remove the dipstick but finally got it out with great effort. The plastic end was no longer attached. I guess it’s either in the tube or in the transmission?
