I always have used genuine Honda Oil and Filter on my 2005 F-12X every year, and it continues to run and perform as it did when it was new. I also installed a new Honda air filter this year. (131 hours, 19 seasons, 19 oil/filter changes, one set of new spark plugs, and one air filter. Still a great ski, runs every bit as good as my 2021 Yamaha FX SVHO, and my 2023 Yamaha FX HO Cruiser.

This is a good kit for an oil change on an Aquatrax f12. 5 quarts of oil is $48 and the filter is $15. With a vacuum extractor, the oil change work is easy enough. You could also get Royal Purple or Amsoil for $5 less.
