Taking the weatherstrips off was not easy. I carefully pried the metal along, widening the width of the weatherstrips taking care not to damage the paint. Once the weaterstrip is widened it easily comes off with a twist.The new weatherstrip goes on easily. I used a light mallet with a block of wood to insure that the weather strips were fully seated. The parts are exactly what I needed and the finished job looks great.
