This adapter is usually advertised for the 7.3L ford powerstroke, so I purchased it. To make it work right I had to grind all the high spots off where it threads into the glow plug hole, even then its very hard to get it to thread in the hole. The fitting and hose should have been smaller, then it would work perfectly.

Needed to check compression on my 2000 7.3 diesel, this item connected to my standard diesel compression check kit.It worked flawlessly to get into the glow plug holes without removing the rocker, push rod, or injector. Just removed my glow plugs, and screwed this in, had to push in firmly to make it bend next to the push rod n rocker, but I warmed it a little with a heat gun, and with slight downward pressure, this thing screwed right in with little effort!

part worked great just make sure you have the correct adapter for the end. No idea why they cant make this with a normal size air line fitting.

This adapter threaded in easily to the glow plug hole but the crimps on the hose were not strong enough to stop the end from spinning, a little 404 loctite fixed that.

Bought it to go with the Mightyvac MV5534 to test compression on my ‘97 7.3L Powerstroke. Pulled glow plug and threaded this right in with fingers. Shop was cold so I took the suggestion to use heat gun to warm/soften the hose. Works like a charm! Seats well with no leaks. No o-ring to mess with, either.

Does not fit in area or screw in glow plug hole very good at all. Has a odd quick disconnect on end that’s not compatible with most compression testers

Made checking the compression on a 7.3 power stroke a lot easier. Spins in hand tight with rockers still in place and gets the job done.

I could not get it to screw into the glow plug hole, so I tried it in another cylinder. Same thing. The threads on the fitting are really rough and pitted. Using a wrench on the quick-connect end only spins the hose inside the fitting. I may try to chase the threads with a nut, but I will probably just build one from scratch that works and trash this!

Aside from the MyghtyVac end problem (I brazed a common air chuck to it) the threads are terrible. It will not thread into the glow plug hole. You had better order a 10mmx1.0 die at the same time to chase the threads.
