The intention of these roller guides was good but the execution needs improvement. They are made using a relatively light weight plastic that does not have the strength to withstand the weight that a vehicle could place on it. The roller probably does not need to be provided as only a smooth surface is needed for the hose to slide against. I used to use discarded brake shoes placed under the edge of the tires which allowed the hose to be pulled without it getting jammed.It’s frustrating that when washing your vehicle and you pull on your hose that it gets stuck under a wheel. This requires you to go back and pull more hose from under the wheel. So I tried just jamming these under the tire. This was not secure enough for it to remain in place as it ended up being pulled out of place by the hose allowing it to still get stuck under the wheel. One of these, when stuck under a wheel caused the end with the roller to lift off the ground allowing the hose to pull under it and jam.The intention of these devices was for the the long flat portion to be placed under the tire. The pictures in the listing show the entire flat portion being under the tire. It might be possible to drive onto it but the vehicle will have to be stopped before the tire contacts the portion containing the roller and crushing it. Not only does this not leave much room for error but that only takes care of one end of your vehicle. I guess you could also jack your car up slightly at each corner, placing one under the tire and then lowing the car. This would require doing this for each corner of the vehicle. Personally, I would rather just deal with hose.If these were sturdier they would most likely function properly and would be worth the cost. The two star rating is for a good idea but poor design.

The plastic is so thin these cannot do what they are intended. The part that is supposed to secure them under the tire is paper thin.Very poorly made. Not worth the money!

So this is one of those things you can live without but it would be nice to have. Anyone that washes their cars using the garden hose knows how when going around the car, the hose inevitably gets snagged around the tires. This is meant to solve that issue. It does work but the product is a little flimsy and moves if it is not wedged tightly at the corner. My hose is thick and heavy and this thing is all plastic. Maybe I need to angle it better and wedge it tighter. I’ll post an update in my experience with the product improves.

When I opened the box and saw how thin these were I thought there was no way these were going to work but when I used them, they worked great. I pushed them under the tires on my Jeep and they never moved. The hose never got stuck under the tires. It was so nice not having to fight with the hose getting stuck on the tires.Disclaimer: I am a vine member and I do get these items for free but I review all items honestly as if I had paid for them myself. In fact Amazon wants its Vine members to be critical of the items that they review. If I take the time to review an item then you can be rest-assured that it is an honest review.

I mean, they’re hose guides. What else is there to say?They do work exactly as intended. They slip easily under the tires, and the rollers keep hoses from getting hung up while working around the car. I like the bright orange color, I definitely don’t forget these are there and accidentally drive over them.I do wish the rollers were a little taller, but typically these work well to keep hoses from getting caught. Perhaps a design change for the future.

anyone who has washed their cars with a garden hose knows the pain if the tire pinch. Huge pita, but these really help. At first sounded silly, but I have them a shot and def helped.

Have loved using these during car washes. Has helped keep the hose from getting stuck under the tire. Just don’t forget it’s there after washing like I did one day before pulling out of the driveway!
