Amazing knob, very high quality all around. The feel is incredibly smooth as chrome should be, and the threads are beautifully tapped. The one and only issue I have with this knob, is that the adapter is brass, and does not screw in all the way, creating a visible and tactile gap between the knob and the retainer. For now I’ve hidden it with some black rubber stretched over the tip, but I hope to find a washer at a hardware store to do the job better. It’s strange though, the way the inner knob is shaped you would think that the adapter would go all the way in, but I don’t think that’s possible after trying several times.EDIT: After some research I found a low profile adapter, which I hope will fix the issue. Unfortunately I could not find it on amazon, but at least I found a better solution than a washer. Still very happy with this knob despite the extra cost of the new adapter.

This stick shift ball is heavy and well made. I’ve had it now for two years and it has not lost any luster. It still shines like the day I got it. Only draw back is that it get hot if direct sunlight hits it for a long time. But I expect that in something this solid. I recommend this for everyone. Great product.

My DIY shift knob finally decided to break. So i got this one. Didn’t even need the adapters. Threaded right on my 05 forester sti. Very nice look.Pros: very happy with the fitment. Installed in 1 minute. Affordable and good quality. Has some good weight to it too.Cons: It gets super cold and super hot. And scuffs easily.

Very beautiful ball nice and heavy. Does get very cold I haven’t went through summer months yet but I’m expecting it to be hot. If you purchase this but have your clutch going out I don’t recommend using it. I was having trouble getting in gears and the threads got messed up from pushing and pulling hard so wouldn’t recommend if you got crappy trans or clutch but overall very pleased would definitely recommend for normal use, and yes I bought this knowing it would be cold then most likely hot!

I like how it looks with all my other Neo chrome accessories. It’s nice and heavy and i had it installed for a few months and it not scratched or damaged. Side note- when the weather cold and hot the shift knob does take on that temperature other than its perfect

Hasn’t loosened. Hasn’t scuffed or scratched. Surprisingly comfortable.I will say it gets really hot to the touch when I leave my car in the southern heat. Other than that 10/10 5 stars.
