Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene is well known for its dense thermo & shock proof resistance.
This material is most commonly used amongst all OEM manufacturers to produce bumpers & other accessories such as side skirts & spoilers. Main difference between this material and others such as carbon fiber or fiberglass, is that it does not crack easily.
The material shock absorbs and bends to take the corrective form in order to avoid breaking.
Polyurethane (PU)
Polyurethane is by far the most cost effect and popular material used for aftermarket car parts.
The flexibility of this material makes it more durable and easier to install.
A polyurethane part can be bent into certain positions during installation without the fear of it cracking or breaking.
Carbon Fiber (CF)
Carbon fiber is composed of carbon atoms bonded together in crystals that makes a strong material for its size and weight.
Because the fibers are inter woven into the polymer “fabric”, carbon fiber gains a distinctive woven pattern appearance.
Carbon fiber parts are lightweight, making them ideal for racing where maximizing strength and minimizing weight of a part is crucial.
