I love the look of my AVS bug deflector! I have no regrets with my purchase. Some things to note however, I have to forcefully shut my hood otherwise it likes to not latch all the way. Let’s face it though it’s a Toyota Tacoma, you’re not opening the hood much at all! It’s a good looking deflector at a good price. The little AVS sticker didn’t wanna stay attached, it fell off.

I really like the look and thickness of the hood vent. The logo for AVS was put on upside down. Also, the plastic and screws anchors are pretty wimpy and do not hold it tight to the hood. I had to use my own anchors and screws to secure it.

Easy install. two cons for me, 1- The hardware that came along with the product to install were very cheap. All plastic screws. I threw those straight in the garbage and kept my old hardware. All metal hardware that is durable and long lasting unlike cheap plastic.2-the logo that came on the product fell off because it was stuck on there like a sticker. Hope the company looks into it and adds a logo that will stay on thru weather conditions.Other than that it looks great on my wife’s 03 Tacoma.One other thing your product will come with little sticky looking bubbles. You’re supposed to stick those on your hood behind the bug deflector so it will not scratch your hood in case someone leans on your hood and happens to bend the bug deflector. Not a must to put on. More of a preference.
