BLOWER MOTOR REPLACE STEPS:
1.Detach the cover from the bottom of the lower dash—it’s usually held in place by screws or clips. The blower motor will be attached at the bottom of the climate control unit, usually with screws.
2.Disconnect the wires from the blower motor.
3.Remove the screws holding the blower motor to the climate control unit.
4.Carefully slide the motor out of the housing. There will be a plastic wheel on the far side of the motor.
5.Gently work the plastic wheel off of the shaft.
6.If applicable, attach the blower wheel to the new motor using the spring clip.
7.Reinstall the motor into the climate control unit.
8.Once it’s secure, reconnect the wires.
9.Check the function of your new motor for noise and vibration.
10.Reattach the cover under the dash.
