These look to be the real deal. Compared to my previous filter and everything looks identical. The washers supplied are exactly the same as the ones I bought from the local Acura/Honda dealership. The weight of the filters is 6.5 oz which also aligns with the specs from Honda. I see reviews on here claiming some received used filters. If you suspect this, I would weigh them to make sure they are close to the manufacturer’s specification. A used filter will have oil trapped inside the filter due to the anti-drain-back valve and as a result a used filter is going to weigh up 4oz heavier. I know this because I weighed my used filter and even after draining it for a day, it weighs almost 11 oz. I also saw some reviews saying that the metal was thin like a soda can. The ones I received are not like that, they are very rigid and will not collapse when using finger-strength to squeeze.OEM filters are generally the best choice for most automobiles. There may be some exceptions to this rule, but for reputable OEM’s such as Honda, Toyota, GM, etc. this rings true.
