It is a nice unit. It works great. You can take off the bushing with one side of the end and put the bushing in with the other side. It works fast with the right air chisel. It clicks in so the end does stay attached. to the shaft. Work great comes in Handley.

When changing brakes, a lot of heavy vehicle mechanics will leave the anchor bushings in place. I’m not a fan of leaving something to further seize and be someone else’s problem. The effectiveness of this tool will rely mainly on the type of pneumatic air hammer you’re using. With a quality hammer (and maybe some heat), you shouldn’t have any issues driving old bushings out. Your biggest drawback to using this is the crud that rains down from vibrating the chassis. It’s definitely a cheaper alternative to a specialty screw type press.

At first the tool was a tight fit with flipping the head, but it has broken in and works great. Being a diesel mechanic I didn’t realize these came in two sizes. Got the short one but can’t complain about it.
