The clutch seems well built and has a decently thick bushing surface. It is quite heavy so I think it will last a long time. As with these less expensive ones if they spend a lot of time idling the bushing may need to be lubricated from time to time. This one is going on a go cart. I believe this should be a good clutch for light to medium-heavy use.

This clutch is a great repair part, to replace one that might have worn out. It comes with all needed parts, and is easy to install.

This same construction centrifugal clutch with pulley seems to occur in many listings on amazon; they may all come out of the same factory somewhere. I used this particular one on a gas engine for an old MacKissic chipper and it seems to work fine – slips at low rpms and engages at higher. With the built-in land to fit a crankshaft keyway slot there is no need for a separate key. At the same time, this seems like a bad construction because if the key (land) were to shear the entire clutch would need to be replaced because there is no groove on the clutch to place a replacement key. There is no allen set screw on the clutch to keep it in place on the crankshaft either so you have to rely on a bushing or washers on the crankshaft to keep it in position against the keeper washer and bolt at the end of the crankshaft.
