The HPS Performance 1 (25mm) high temperature reinforced black silicone cap is designed specifically to be installed on your cooling system. Vacuum caps have no reinforcement and are intended for vacuum and very little pressure. The HPS reinforced silicone caps are manufactured just like our reinforced silicone radiator hoses. I don’t recommend this product. Received the item, package was in perfect condition. Once opened noticed the poor quality. Might just be my luck to receive a poorly formed hose end. But the pictures show the nearly threw void from the inside out. Also it is covered in fine slices on the exterior.
