   This glow plug was exactly the correct part for my 2011 TDI golf. The changeout took about 30 minutes, and was very easy. Helpful note: Use a can of compressed air to blow away dust, sand, dirt etc. before unscrewing the old glow plug/pressure sensor.Shipping was excellent and the product was exactly as stated.

   The product arrived, and using the proper plug puller tool to remove the plug cap — which breaks easily, by the way — together with a deep 12mm socket, the glow plug is easy to install. The fault code disappeared in half a day and my check engine light went out on its own (I have a bluetooth OBDII adapter that allows me to read and clear codes, which I didn’t use after the plug installation because I wanted to see if the fault code would expire on its own) and hasn’t come back on. The plug is ridiculously expense though cheaper on Amazon from Fowler, and the problem is over. I might add as a 2010 VW Jetta TDI owner, who also swapped out the rear O2 sensor the same week, I’m disappointed to have to replace these parts after only 65k miles. That’s why Consumer Reports gives this otherwise brilliantly styled and performing car only “average” for reliability. Oh well. Now my car’s efficiency and pep is back.

   Worked perfectly on a 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. Got check engine light so looked online for the error code and found out it was coming from #4 cylinder. Further reading online suggested switching the glow plug from the one with an error code to one that does not have a code so I swapped #4 with #2. Cleared the code then #2 came up so I knew it was the glow plug itself. I just installed it but haven’t had a chance to drive the car but hopefully the check engine light doesn’t come up again.
