This is one of my favorite products. I have used this for more than 20 years. It is easy to spray on and provides a very tough finish. This is the light, clear finish. There is also a heavier milky looking version of this same product.

I purchased a can of SEM Clear Chipguard about 5 year ago and have used it in a multitude of applications, including coating a mosaic table for use outdoors. My rattle can of this product seemingly lasted longer, much longer, than I thought it would….it goes a long way. And when I knew it was reaching bottom, I ordered a fresh can to have in stock. My experience (I’m a “hobby” mechanic car guy, in my 50’s so I’ve owned old new and everything in between when it comes to cars and trucks) with SEM is that it is a great product. Touch up paints I have used were good matches and this chip-guard truly is a must-have which will assist with repairs, covering curb rash boo-boo’s etc. Sprays evenly and lays down a decent “textured” coat of durable, waterproof product.A little pricey? Perhaps, but you do get what you pay for and SEM, in my experience, is a good product.

When you repair a steering wheel quite often sanding with 600 or 320 is required. This makes the leather smooth. Texture can be added back with SEM 39803. Different spray distances gives less or more texture. After spraying with 39803 I did a VERY lite sanding with 600, then top coated. Worked rather well.

Purchased to do crack repair on dash and used this to add texture. Worked well. Viewed You Tube video of repair, sanding and texturing before matching paint.

It took several weeks to even get it to my door. It arrived dented and smell like it had leaked in the package. But I had been putting off my project until this arrived. Started my project yesterday and went to use it and nothing came out. It trickles out of the nozzle but doesn’t spray. The nozzle itself fell out and now I paid about $30 for nothing. Amazon said I had to go through SEM to be rectified. I called the number and left a message but no one has called me back. Unfortunate now I have to go elsewhere to get it.

Good quality clear coating. The can I had came with a bad nozzle. Came out like spatter paint a bit. Got a nozzle from another can and good to go
