Function
- An engine oil dipstick serves as a gauge to check both the level of oil in your vehicle.
How to use?
- 1.Turn off the ignition and wait for the engine to cool down;
- 2.Pull the dipstick out. Make sure that the cloth is kept below it so that the oil does not fall on your vehicle’s engine or yourself;
- 3.Wipe the dipstick gently using a paper towel or tissue paper or any clean cloth;
- 4.Insert the dipstick back into the tube from where you had pulled it out;
- 5.Pull the dipstick out again as you did previously and inspect it for the oil level.

This product must be for either the 3.5L V6 or the V8 engines, this is NOT a direct replacement for the 2.7L V6 dipstick, even though Amazon will tell you it fits, it will be too long and measure the oil level incorrectly.If you are looking for the 2.7L dipstick, the part number is 4792863AB.
