Despite having the manufacturers part number AND the old valve being replaced for comparison, it was with total uncertainty that I ordered and took delivery of this valve. Part numbers seem to be superseded, and then revert back to the original – it’s disappointingly all over the map.When the valve arrived, all of the non-metallic components matched my original valve, but the metal parts forming the mounting bracket were completely different, and not designed to allow them to be changed. Surgery on the metal mounting bracket parts was required, and the valve was adapted to fit. Fortunately, when in use it works perfectly.
