The outer end of the installer got stuck in the tube opening. The inner cup did not fit the seal. In the end all I ended up using was the threaded rod part of it. You can buy threaded rod at your local hardware store for a few dollars.

To long this will not work for a 1997 Dodge 2500 with a Dana 60Fedit, We were able to modify the tool by drilling the hole out the 0.750 and adding a spacer and did get it to work.

Does not work on Dana 60 as advertised… tried it with my 2001 dodge ram 2500. OD of seal installer is too small to hold seal or housing. I had to fabricate some larger seal installers to work. Buy the expensive tool that’s right
