It did fit perfect, the fuel outlet is in a different location but the fuel line still reached. Minorly concerned that the outlet is closer to heat/engine so time will tell. Did bolt up perfect.

As the title says, tank was easy to install and fit perfect. Let me say that I was disappointed in the original Kohler tank that rusted. Ran tank dry, kept log splitter covered and under cover, but still rusted.
