Description
Thanks for looking! This oil pressure sensor relocation kit will move your sensor away from behind the intake manifold. The sensor commonly fails, and is a pain to replace. With this kit, you move the sensor to the side of the intake manifold, prolonging the life of the sensor as well as making new sensor swaps a breeze. Kit is ready to install and features a 12″ braided line. Add your oil sensor and go! No extension to the original wire necessary.

Perfect fit in my 98 C5. The oil pressure sender is a big deal to get to. Installed this and now I can swap that crappy sensor out in a minute. Be prepared to cut and extend the wiring harness though. Very simple job, three wires some solder, heat shrink and wire loom. I zip tied it to the fuel rail harness and it looks like it was supposed to be there from the factory. (Should have been!)

Installed this on my 2002 Corvette and this was an AWESOME investment to minimize the work of having to pull the intake manifold to change the Oil Pressure Sensor if it goes out again down the line! One thing to keep in mind though is that you’ll want to get some yellow plumber’s tape and add it to each of the connections to prevent leaks, but after I put that on at each point this adapter was smooth sailing. From the pics you’ll see how the sensor was originally buried at the back of the block and I relocated it to the top using the adapter which will make a sensor replacement take 2 minutes instead of 2 hours. #Genius

A must have for Corvettes and F-Bodies since the oil pressure sensor is so hard to get at and they tend to fail often.

The concept and idea are good, but did not fit my OE oil pressure sensor. I had to grind down the length of sensor in order to get the gasket to contact and seal. If there’s another sensor that should have been used, no info was given and no directions supplied.

Oil pressure sensor wouldn’t seal, put an o ring in the fitting. Works great now.

Typical failure of the oil pressure sensor on the LS6. Definitely easier for next time it fails. While you’re at it, swap your knock sensors, the harness and your intake manifold gaskets. Take lots of pictures and don’t be in a hurry.
