External marketplace context: Before the camber was out of spec, the control arms would hit the struts at full droop. With these, the camber is within spec instead of hitting more at full sag.

Pros: sturdy, appear well made, well packaged, improved travel. Cons: didn’t change camber much, confusing design choicesI installed these in my 2012 Xterra which has a ~ 2″ OME suspension lift, with hope of improving the ride a bit and correcting the negative camber on the front wheels. It may have taken 1/2 a degree out, not what I was hoping, but I’ll probably leave them in until I finally get a winch/bumper on the front and see where the ride height and camber shake out at that point. Ride seems to have improved marginally through bumps and pot holes.Installation is pretty straight forward, there are many good videos on YouTube. “Ry the car guy” had a pretty good video, one of the comments stated that one can gently push the steering joint on the LH side out of the way with a pry bar, and that worked out for me. I did insert the bolts on the LH side differently so I can get them back out again easily, I don’t think it is a big deal, done it on race cars before and they have been fine…The arms are supplied with a grease for the bushings, however I am mystified why grease zerks are included. I am by no means new to the polyurethane bushing game, and have always used lubricants like Energy Suspension’s Formula 5 or Whiteline’s grease. I have yet to see a poly bushing grease that is applied with a grease gun through a zerk. The general understanding I have is the bushings come out of the car every 5 years or so for a cleaning and regreasing. I installed the zerks anyways as dust/water protection, two came off when I was installing the arms into their pockets around the coil buckets.I thought the grease supplied was a bit too viscous, so I replaced it with some Energy Suspension Formula 5 I had on hand. If you don’t have that lying around, I’d recommend using what they sent. Another trick I have learned to avoid the dreaded poly bushing squeaking is to wrap the bushing insert in teflon pipe tape, you can thank an engineer at Mugen for that one. I wrapped and greased the inserts, and greased the poly bushings inside and out, a little of that super sticky grease goes a long ways too.Make sure you grease the ball joints too! They are fitted with zerks and have a nice big rubber dust cap on top of the arm.All in all, a really good product and nice looking at the price point. I think it is very affordable, even a young person with a small budget can make a meaningful upgrade to their truck in a pretty easy day of wrenching.

My son installed a 3″ lift on his Xterra but never changed the upper A arms.I told him to but what do I know.Well his new ball joints lasted a year due to the extreme angels. He was able to easily change the upper arms and after an alignment his Xterra rides a lot better.I think his front suspension was limited by the extremes ball joint angels. These arms are well made and the grease fittings are a nice touch.5 STARS

Poly bushings. If you take off the rubber cap on the top of the ball joint, there is a grease zerk to lube the ball joint.

I have a 2inch lift on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder and the factory control arms just were not cutting it, these solved the issue of my steering wheel going all over the place when going over a bump and feeling like I was bottoming out. I have a really smooth ride now.

If you installed a front lift or leveling kit and your alignment shop says your lower control arm cam bolts are too rusted to adjust this product will not solve your alignment problems. You will need to buy upper control arms that are adjustable and much more pricey. These were definitely good quality though.
