Was worried about if this muffler fits or not since the other exact fit muffler was $60 to $100 but this was only $25. Plus the 2 clamps were totally $5. After connecting it to the front exhaust and back resonator, both sides fit exactly, I was so relieved. Very happy about this muffler, now my minivan is so quiet as before. One thing to notice is that this muffler is smaller than the original one. After I tightened the muffler hanger screw, the rear end of the muffler was taller than originally. Therefore, the resonator pipe was higher when connecting to this muffler, the other side of the resonator was thus lower. When backing up it may hit the curb, just may.

I don’t think this unit fits. I ordered it for a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan (3.1L) that is a wheelchair van, so the exhaust was custom to begin with. However, the inlet and outlet of this muffler are two different sizes. I believe this is a reversible muffler, so you can install it either way. The “B” side is the smaller end (2″ I.D.), which is in the center of the oval on that end, and that side will mate right up to the midpipe without any issue. Then the “A” end (the one pictured as being on the side of the oval) is larger (2 1/4″ I.D.) so I am left to consider now whether I care to install this and use larger diameter pipe for the rest of this custom installation.The best thing this muffler has going for it is the price. Since I bought it for just $25, the purchase of larger diameter pipe may not really cost that much more…But I would have much rather had 2″ inlet and 2″ outlet. It makes the pipe easier to route under the vehicle.Update: I decided to return it to Amazon for refund. I checked the manufacturer’s website (Walker) and they have a tool that allows you to search for mufflers based on their size, inlet/outlet diameter, etc. I did that, found one that I think will be a better fit, and ordered it.

Said it wouldn’t fit 2001 Toyota 4Runner but I made it work. Some cutting and welding and it fit perfectly. Can’t beat the price. Would definitely purchase again.
