The locking pin holes in the 2″ receiver section were manufactured in an offset pattern, which disallows installation of the locking pin (it will not go through the holes that do not line up. This is very poor quality control and should be something that is tested at the factory to ensure that the holes are lined up.

Love it! Bumper step was delivered and installed today. Package came with everything I needed to install and secure the step to my Tundra. It even came with a hitch lock and a stablizing plate that bolts on the bottom of the step and prevents the step from moving or shifting. And the lock is not some cheap lock discount store lock. The step is coated with a textured, non-silp finish and raised bumps, similar to traction tread, that help keep your footing. I looked a several other steps that cost a lot more and didn’t offer nearly as much quality as this one. I am very pleased and would recommend this product to anyone needing a bumper step!

This came very well packaged . It has a locking pin that is good quality, the step slides in easy and has a securement clamp that you need an 18mm wrench or deepwell socket,ratchet to install. Once clamped it is rock solid and at the right hight for my 2017 ram 2500 powerwagon. Good powder coat and looks great too. Recommend.

I bought this for my 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn. It was super easy to install, looks amazing (especially with the ONINE ‘Thruster’ side steps I bought as well), and is super-useful in reaching items in the bed of the truck (with the tailgate up…if the tailgate is down, it covers it…but, would you really need it if the tailgate is down?). Thanks to the included anti-rattle hitch tightener and pin lock, I don’t have to worry about it being stolen or coming loose (I used my torque wrench to tighten the bolts for the anti-rattle device down to 25 ft-lbs…it’s solid as a stone, and no noise!).Couldn’t be happier with this purchase…Thanks for another superb product, ONINE!
