Easily build your own axle with this 2,200 lb rated hub assembly. This kit includes (2) – 4-Bolt on 4 inch bolt center hubs for 2,200 lb axles, (2) – 1-1/16″ straight spindles, (2) castle nuts, (2) cotter pins, (8) 1/2-20 lug nuts, (2) 1.987″ O.D – 1.50″ I.D double lipped grease seals, (4) L-44649 1-1/16″ I.D inner/outer bearings and (2) 1.986 O.D – 1.16″ depth, dust caps. PLEASE NOTE: Fabricating an axle requires the proper equipment needed to apply a weld. If you are uncomfortable with your welding capabilities, this project should be handled by a qualified welder.

These things are awesome! I built a monster yard/utility cart using these that will be around for a very long time. The shafts slide right into 2x2x.250 square tube, and the hubs accept standard, cheap golf cart wheels and tires. It was then perfect solution to using junk ball bearing wheels that come apart with heavy use.

I recently purchased the Rigid hub assembly to refurbish a small trailer I use to haul wood using my ATV. The parts were very solidly built and frankly way stronger than I needed. They should last many years to come. I would definitely recommend them for other small trailer applications
