Description
Replacement steering rack bushings for your vehicle restore original road feel and handling. Oil, power steering and other fluids cause steering rack bushing wear and deterioration, which in turn causes excessive play in your steering system. Steering rack bushings are the only item that mounts your power steering rack (sometimes referred to as your rack and pinion) to your chassis. Any forward or lateral movement of this steering rack – even the most minute – can cause noticeable changes in toe and other alignment settings.

I I am a mechanic, have a 2001 LS430 , when drive on bumps, steering wheel shaking. lexus V8 V6 all has a same issue, the steering rack bushing has a design problem, just repace them every 10 years then do wheel alignment. I recomemd this aftermarket part. works well ,cheap, same feeling like expensive OEM parts. Bought to try to fix the front end squeak. Didn’t fix that, but def fixed all the steering wheel vibrations and feels rock solid. Pulling old bushings out isn’t hard but takes some work but putting these in is very easy, def recommend.
