The product itself is a good product, but the execution of the product is horrible, the instructions have typos and don’t explain anything very well. So your going in blind, and the universal bracket that you have to bend and attach to keep the intake from rattling, doesn’t fit my 2014 Ford Focus, not very universal, that doesn’t say it won’t fit a different model though. Long story short, it’s cheap, got what I paid for, it works, I’m happy with it, it sounds great

2 years ago I installed a bigger diameter TB, TB Spacer, and a intake manifold spacer. I never really truly had put a CAI on my 2015 Ford Focus SE HB. The intake I had installed on my Focus, was a FSWERKS cool flo intake that just came with a heat shield and a round green filter. I wanted to put a better CAI on my car that replaces the factory ribbed intake hose that disrupts the air flow going in to the TB. I was looking at the K&N CAI for the Focus and it was still $300 Dollars. So I came across this intake on amazon for $65 Dollars; which had me a little skeptical at first being so cheap, that it would not work as well as a more expensive one. So I said to myself, I could not pass up on this intake for the price and ended up buying it. After installation of This CAI intake kit, I got in the car, to test out if it made a difference or not. Boy let me tell you, the throttle response on this intake is smooth and when I took off, it took off no hesitation at all. It sounds nice too. What Did not like about kit was the instructions were not detailed enough with more pictures showing you step by step. For me it was easy to install, because I have installed CAI’s before. Overall I like this intake.
