Without mechanical ability this can be a challenge to install, as the instructions are very vague.. Just take it to a friend who has mechanical know-how and let them help you, then buy them dinner..It is very sturdy as long as you replace the mounting bolts that came with it for the brackets that mount it to your H3.. (they are the ones that mount it to the brackets that connect to your Hummer’s tow hook mounts)Replaces those bolts with hardened bolts as the ones that came with this will snap off when you torque this down.. Once you do that, the looks great, it is super sturdy.. And you will be very happy with it at the price you bought it at.. Something this heavy and sturdy normally goes for at least twice the price..

I am a 17 yr/o with zero experience building anything with my hands. There were no instructions in the package but I figured it out! It comes with spare washers and screws as well, at least I hope they are spares because there was no instructions! I had a great time building it and learning as I go. It was very easy to build. It took 2 and a half hours to build by myself. I plan on buying another one in the near future for a future H3 or to resell fully built. Quality is fair as well.

Very nice product and perfect fit. Extremely fast shipping and Easy to assemble took about a half hour. For those less mechanically inclined there are no detailed directions to follow but it’s not too bad.
