These plugs fit any non-military 6.2 Or 6.5. These plugs heat up twice as fast and get nearly twice as hot as the original plugs that gm had back in the 80’s & 90’s, yet they are not prone to the swelling experienced with some oem plugs. (Wellman plug is on the right) both plugs were new, both powered from the same battery at the same time, with the same size wire. – Wow – look at the difference! After 20 years, there have been many updates and improvements to this plug design. Wellman made the original 60g plugs for gm during initial production of the 6.5 During the 80’s & 90’s, now they made them better! These updated plugs offer a noticeable improvement in cold weather starting. Considerable design effort has been put into these new plugs to ensure that they not only start better, but have improved service life. Special attention has been paid to the plug tips in order to minimize potential swelling that can occur as the plugs age. Some lesser plugs can swell so big at the tip that they won’t come back out of the head, that’s a problem you don’t need. Amazingly the new plugs also draw less amperage than the oem plugs did. Why use the 20 year old technology of the old AC Delco 60G plugs when there is a vast improvement available for the same price or less? These plugs offer superior starting over any competing plug on the market today. Tested two times at the factory before shipping. Pricing is for the set of 8. I am impressed by these glow plugs. I always thought my truck started just fine, but after discovering that a couple of the original plugs were not working anymore I decided to replace them all with these. It was the best thing ive ever done for the truck so far, its amazing. I would recommend these to anyone looking for glow plugs for a GM 6.2 or 6.5 diesel engine.

I got the glow plugs it a timely manner. But was confused because I wasn’t aware Diesel RX was making Wellman glow plugs. In the description said the brand was wellman. I did not receive glow plugs that match that description I received Diesel rx brand glow plugs.

put 7 of the 8 glow plugs in 2 weeks ogo, didn’t get to the right rear because it needs a lift to get to it thank god, 5 of the seven burned out in a week but the real problem is two of them swelled up on the tips to where they wouldn’t come out after I unscrewed them, the left rear and right front, I had to cut part of the inner fender out to get vise grips with a slide hammer on them and hammer a long time but they came out without breaking. I thought I would have to remove the heads to extract them. Never again, OEM only from now on.
