   These are awesome boost gauges that are super thin giving you more mounting options. One thing to remember is this gauge MUST have a power source that remains hot during cranking so it can properly self calibrate once the key is on. If power is cut during cranking it will calibrate during vacuum. One feature I would have liked to see in this gauge is a audible warning instead of just a flashing display. It’s nice to watch the road and hear a warning rather than being required to watch the gauge.

   I’ve been a mechanic for 22 years ASE master tech certified. I’ve been using AEM products for many years on my personal builds and for clients. This is the first product I’ve ever had an issue with. I bought this and a Wideband AFR gauge for a 2019 Subaru STi build. They are both amazing looking gauges and very well built. The install was very straight forward and there was no calibration needed. The Boost gauge worked wonderfully for about 2 weeks then the customer returned saying the gauge was constantly reading “SEnS”. I tried and new vacuum/boost line and new fuse tap. No change. Removed the gauge sensor and wiring to bench test the sensor and gauge. Both failed. I contacted AEM and they were EXTREMELY HELPFUL. They started the warranty claim after I had explained the issue and steps taken to correct it. They are sending a new one as we speak.

   So I expected alot from AEM, got this gauge and went to install as per instructions. Got it wired up and gauge read SEnS right out of the gate. Tried the sensor in multiple locations (different locations for vaccume/boost) and nothing. Got ahold of AEM’s technical support, they helped my try to “troubleshoot” the issue. Chalked it up to be a bad sensor. They sent out a replacement sensor. replacement sensor got here yesterday. Installed the new replacement sensor, same exact thing. Waiting to hear back from AEM, but I’m not happy with this gauge at all. Looks good and that’s about it.Edit. After the second round with customer service they sent me a working gauge it was exactly what I expected. Customer service was great through out the whole thing.

   Hice la compra de este manometro, apenas me llego lo abri y me di cuenta que el manometro no venia asegurado en la caja, traia polvo y unos rayones en la mica por lo que me hizo dudar que fuera nuevo, procedi a realizar pruebas, por que aqui mismo comentaron que lo habian instalado y al conectar salio fallado y tuvieron que desmontar todo, por lo mismo yo decidi hacer pruebas antes de realizar toda la instalacion, el medidor nunca marco 0psi, siempre marcaba 1,5psi estando el motor apagado, no se puede calibrar de ninguna manera, si no marca cero al estar el motor apagado algun problema tiene, de inmediato me comunique con la gente de AEM antes de deciri hacer la devolucion, y les comente mis pruebas, me respondieron el email y me pidieron realizar otras pruebas al sensor mps, las realice y les pase el resultado y la conclusion de los tecnicos de AEM fue que el manometro estaba fallado, me solicitaron acreditar la compra, que fuera anunciado como nuevo y el ticket de compra de amazom, me pidieron destruirlo y mandar fotos y por estar dentro de los 12 meses de garantia me van a mandar otro medidor completamente gratis sin pagar envio o aduana, la atencion postventa de AEM es excelente, me quito el mal sabor de boca de recibir un producto dañado, en los proximos 3 dias sera enviado un manometro nuevo desde USA completamente gratis, yo no tengo que pagar nada, y la verdad solo por la atencion postventa de AEM me atrevo a recomendarlo, estare en espera del nuevo manometro que me llegue y a ver si funciona bien.ACTUALIZO, despues de 5 dias recibi el nuevo medidor enviado por AEM como garantia y ahora si funciono a la perfeccion, subo estrellas pues la atencion post venta fue excelente

    These gauges use absolute pressure sensors and supposedly calibrate on startup, but mine does not. I am at altitude and atmospheric pressure is ~12.4 psi. The gauge consistently reads 2-3 psi below what it should for ‘gauge pressure’ verified with a mityvac. It looks like it reports gauge pressure with 14.7 psi as a zero reference, which means this gauge would be inaccurate for people that live at non-sea level.This really should be clearly advertised in the product description that you are unable to calibrate this gauge to your local atmospheric pressure and it does not do a zero calibration on startup like it should.Otherwise no issues with quality or fitment.
