I have a 2008 987.1 and this cap fits the gas tank exactly like the one I had before (the cable attaching that one broke). The installation method looks different than the previous one but doesn’t look like it’ll be a problem to attach. Functions as described and good quality. The seal on the inside of this cap is so much better than my old one that was dry and cracked. Happy with the value for the money
