For power trim models, 15 ft.(4.58 m) harness and built-in warning horn. New design which includes soft grip and power trim leads for front mount switch. Fits all current Mercury/Mariner outboards (with integral power trim) and 1993 and newer Force outboards 40 hp and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim).
When used with MY2005 and newer 8/9.9/15/20 four-stroke outboards an adapter harness 84-892473A01 is required.
Remote Control cables need Gen I style to connect to control box.

I used it several times and had no problems. Its smooth and easy to work.. Just make sure your cables are the right length and no sharp bends. I like the lever which allows you to be able to increase the speed at an idle.

Opened the box and could hear parts rattling around inside. Took both covers off and noticed that it was brass piece that holds the springs in place. Also, throttle peg was in the wrong position (moved the lever forward and it wouldn’t pull the cable forward.) Had to fix that as well. Working fine now but would have been nice to receive it turn key and ready to go after spending $500.
