They work for a quick fix, but in three months they don’t even hold the marks on the buttons. Batteries always come loose, have to take apart a lot

Great product. I have a 2009 Cadillac CTS base model (no keyless entry or push to start) just a good ol key ignition but recently had to get a new key and fob for my car after a horrible house fire and was quoted about $630 for both key and fob and I went with just the key option and opted out of OEM fob and only paid $340 for my key alone. So almost $290 just for tiny key fob that doesn’t even have Cadillac symbol on it smh.But anyways I needed a key fob and this was $40 so I kinda went on a whim not knowing if I could configure this fob to work on my car (it looked exactly the same as the old but still wasn’t sure if I could program myself) and btw this car made it very easy to program its own fob without a professional.How to program1. Turn car half way on. (Idk if you can connect if car is turned all the way over)2. Press the driver info button until you see “press to relearn remote key” and then press the check mark to confirm. Then after it will say remote key learning active.3. Get new fob and hold the unlock and lock button for about 15sec until you hear the car chime and even lock and unlock. After click on the check mark again to exit pairing mode.4.Enjoy your savings.Like I said this is a great solution rather than going to dealership and having them get the OEM version and have professional “programming” extra cost and honestly shouldn’t even be a charge because of how easy this was.I dont know about longevity of fob but I do know my key fob has a little rattle on the inside which is annoying but not enough to go through trouble replacing it. Also idk if im only one who thought this but I only got 1 key fob not 2 fobs like I thought I would receive since it shows two fobs in the pictures.Build quality actually feels good and sturdy buttons are responsive.Hope this helped someone I had a hard time tryna figure out how to program the key but then found the solution after looking. So hopefully this can help you save some time and configure the key fob easier if you have a 09 caddy.

Items looked great and easy to program. However, my vehicle’s Key Fob has lock/unlock, Rear Window/Hatchback, Remote start & Emergency alert. Neither the Rear Window nor the Rear Hatchback would operate by either of the NEW KEY FOB REMOTES.

These things work perfectly as it should. They were super easy to program into my 07 Escalade. The only thing is, and this was more comical, the bottom buttons for opening the rear window and the hatch were reversed. But that’s no deal breaker. Thanks guys!
