unfortunately, i can not totally review this item, the box was damaged in shipping when we got it and its missing parts needed to install. but with that said, everything received would suggest that this rack would be satisfactory for mounting rifles inside of a vehicle and material used is solid. i don’t think it is sufficient or i do not say i would suggest using it as advertised with the rifles on the outside of the jeep unless you were just using rack to hold firearms while parked at camp or the range. but traveling, i think i definitely would not! and please do not leave firearms unattended if you choose to do so. they are not secure from simple theft.

I ordered this for a Jeep Wrangler JL and it doesn’t fit properly. I had high hopes for it but without some rigging, it just won’t work for the intended purpose. I would not order it again and do not recommend it.

This is a heavy duty metal gun rack. It is made from black powder coated steel and has mounts for up to two guns. The adjustable straps and non-slip mat will make it easy to mount most long guns. The metal frame is sturdy and durable and is designed for a no drill fit of the rear window area of Wrangler JL SUV roll tubes. The adjustable rack design allows it to be used to mount traction boards or fuel cans. I use mine to mount two traction boards but be aware that the boards will reduce rear visibility.Would recommend this to anyone.

Without modification I was able to mount this rack in the back of my truck. The important part is having a mounting point that is the correct width. The rack is well made and the mounts hold the rifles securely. There is plenty of adjustment to get a perfect fit.
