Let me just say that I owned over 30 cars in my life. And I haven’t changed radiator fluid on many of them.But recently I needed to change the radiator fluid on a car I hope to keep for years to come and found out that there was a complex bleeding process to get the car fully bled out. When watching how to do it online they suggested I purchase one of these devices. I didn’t think it would help the situation too much is it simply looked like a reservoir to hold the fluid. I purchased this and a pneumatic vacuum purge kit because I do all of my own maintenance on both of my vehicles. The pneumatic system kit cost over $80. While the pneumatic kit includes a pressure tester, and this does not, this funnel is a more useful tool. This tool has all of the adapters to connect to both of my Toyota vehicles. It is simple, and it works EVERY time to purge the cooling system of air. The pneumatic kit will not always fill the system in one go. This means that I have to mess with hoses to evacuate air from the system again.

Yeah, It’s a funnel, but it really did make the job of filling the radiator (almost) spill free.. definitely worth the cost to keep the coolant off the driveway

I just replaced the heater control valve on my ‘98 Toyota Tacoma and got this specifically to bleed air from the cooling system. Everything is easy and strait forward to use, however I had to bend the locking tabs outward on the adapter cap to fit over and lock onto the radiator, as the top is made of plastic, and I didn’t want to damage it. Other than that, it worked great.

Item worked great however it took 3 hot to cold cycles to fully fill all the voids so it may not be immediately fixed. I filled it with the coolant drain plug cracked open. Once I filled I was still getting my thermostat jumping into the hot once I started driving. Idling the car worked fine. I let it cool over night. And in the morning I started the vehicle and then the heat finally kicked which had been blowing cold air and car has been working well ever since

Made a quick easy spill free job out of a radiator drain, flush, and fill for a 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5 (VQ35DE). Cap fitting “B” fit perfectly. Lifted the front end about a foot to assist with burping after reading online forums indicating problems with air getting trapped in the heater core. Burping was hands free other than squeezing the upper radiator hose a few times. About 120 miles driven since and no need to further top of the radiator.
