These high temp silicone rubber plugs are a great fit for the powder coater, custom painter, scientist, handy man, media blaster or anyone who needs premium quality plugs. While most commonly used for masking purposes during finishing, there are hundreds of other uses around the shop, home, lab, classroom, etc. This superior grade of silicone is capable of withstanding temps up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315 Celsius) for 20 minutes and holds up to most chemicals. It is ultra tough yet flexible, reusable and will not crack, harden, shrink or break over time. All of our premium silicone goods are color coded for ease of use and the color will never bleed or fade.

These are very stiff and solid a little hard to drill through like it heals the wound slightly, I used to plug a hole in firewall and pass through some cords. They can take a beating and lock in pretty solid.

I was pleasantly surprised with the construction and quality of these plugs. I used them and a light acid bath of vinegar and also some rust dissolving chemicals. They held up well with no issues.

We used these to block holes left in the floor of each room left after removing radiators. It’ll be a while before we refinish floors, and the kids were losing a lot of small toys into the abyss (on purpose and on accident). These work a lot better than tape, and because of course the holes aren’t the same size I ordered several other sizes as well. Happy they are sold in five packs so we don’t end up with too many extras.

I was going to use to plug PVC pipe while heating in order to bend . The ID of the pipe is trade size National Electric Standard 2″ PVC and the plugs are to small. Will find another use for them i guess.
