Only installed it 2 days ago but it is working well. My cable came with flat spots, so I didn’t need to grind anything. Only issue was the shifter lever connection pin would not fit into the hole. However the pin from the original cable fit into the new one so no real issue.

Had to grind the one end in the threads in order for it to slide Into Grove near gear shifter. Otherwise worked fine on my 2014 wildcat trail 700.

This was a perfect size for our 2014 Wildcat Arctic Cat Trail, fairly easy to install. I used the pin on the backside from the old part because it felt like a better fit to me, but I kept the pin it came with as backup.

Fits perfectly, also comes with 2 studs so you could realistically use this for other applications. Easy to change and fits perfectly. Little tip, zip tie it to the old cable so when you pull the old cable out, it pulls the new one through.

I bought this shift cable as a replacement for my 2015 Wildcat Trail when the original one started showing signs of wear. Installation was fairly straightforward, and it did fit my model which was a relief. However, after a few rides, I noticed the shifting wasn’t as smooth as I’d hoped. It works, but there’s a slight stiffness when changing gears, especially under load. It’s not a dealbreaker but it’s something to be aware of if you’re looking for a perfect replacement. On the plus side, the cable seems durable where I haven’t noticed any issues since installing it.
