The lead is very thick and would not fit between the connector and the terminal. The lead piece was too short to fit all of the way around’ I had to work the lead strip to make it thinner and longer. It was difficult.

Product is too thick and there is no way to make it fit on a standard car battery when using the OEM battery cables. These are very soft metal and can be reshaped to fit if you want to spend a few hours with a hammer to make them thinner. So, they could be made to work, but would not recommend them.

Despite the listing saying that the shims would fit a battery for my car, these shims were WAY too small for my battery posts. I tried prying them open more to get them around the posts and I was able to get them on the battery but, the shims are also WAY too thick for my terminals to fit around them. Total waste of money, even if it was only $5.
