Works well with a Chevy 350 motor & 700r4 transmission in my 1987 GMC Jimmy Full-Size. It holds adjustment unlike all of the ones found in the parts stores. Installation is messy if you don’t drain the transmission of ATF before installing this new cable.

EXCELLENT OEM quality, Replaced my heavily used 1986 caprice 700R4 Throttle Valve (TV) cable. A heck of a lot better than the ones currently available at O’Rei… and Auto… .

Replacement for 700R4 transmission. This part is in a hard to reach spot, so you don’t want to replace it often. This cable very high quality and should last as long as OE so it is worth spending a little more money for it in my opinion.

It should have come with the bolt that holds the cable into the transmission!

Button to depress for adjustment will not depress without the help of pliers, Would not be able to adjust properly on the car.

Used this to replace one of those over-priced fit everything adjustable cables that NEVER did work right.

I was glad to replace my aftermarket tv cable in my TCI 700r4 with this oem one from Ac Delco. Unfortunately, this didn’t come with the gasket which is annoying. Had to go to 3 different stores to find one locally which sucked. And I finally got it installed only to realize this is for a fuel injected engine and not a carbureted engine. It looks like it’s past my return date but I will try to work with Amazon to help with the return since they don’t specify anywhere in the description that it’s for fuel injected engines only.
