External marketplace context: First one I got was defective right out of the box---it worked almost right but caused a code to set that had not been present previously, nor did it return after the defective unit was exchanged for another.It stresses the importance of verifying that the remanufactured part is working as it should, by checking for codes, since your check engine light will never come on for a CC defect.The 2nd unit works great and it is a small price to pay for the convenience of having cruise control again.Hopefully, the defect was a rare QC slip-up and the unit will last for a long time.1 star deducted for the defect that got past their testing.

The box has a bright orange label on the inside reminding the installer to check the car wiring before installation.My wiring was fine, this is an exact replacement for the original, the engine code is gone and have a working cruise control again. Uses the existing screws, so don’t lose them, but if accessible, a very easy item to install yourself.
